Maths Interactives is built around a simple idea: students understand mathematics better when they can see what is actually driving it.

The goal is to give teachers tools that help students explore mathematical ideas visually and interactively, not just complete another worksheet. Change a value, drag a point, watch the graph respond, and see how the mathematics fits together.

The site is aligned to QLD Senior Mathematics — Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods and General Mathematics — so you can browse by course, unit, topic or individual syllabus point.

It is also intended to be a living, collaborative resource.

If you use an interactive and think it could be better, leave feedback. That feedback is read and acted on.

If there is a syllabus point that would benefit from an interactive, request one. Just open the relevant syllabus point, click the request button and describe what you would like the applet to help students understand.

The aim is for Maths Interactives to keep growing into a collection shaped by the teachers who actually use it.
